Timbrel Community Development Corporation, Inc. creates workforce development partnerships to promote the enhancement of entrepreneurs and work-ready individuals. Our focus is on low to mid-income communities, leading to employment empowerment and self-sufficiency.
In these communities our programs and services are essential with an added focus on the opportunities to offer training and development to returning citizens. Timbrel CDC has flexible directives aimed at building on the strengths that will improve the stability of the family and provide increased opportunities for positive human development. Timbrel CDC is a private, Maryland based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks funding for operations through a variety of diverse public and private sources.
Timbrel Community Development Corporation’s aligns itself with the core values of the community. We are passionate about helping people in the District Heights community and beyond, not only to obtain jobs, but in preparation for careers, entrepreneurship, employment retention, legacy planning for future generations, as well as providing resources and alleviating hunger.
Timbrel CDC offers workforce development and financial management through a variety of in-person events, trainings, and workshops, as well as provides charitable donations to the residence of the Maryland, District Heights community. All services are administered by CDC with the collaboration of other agencies and professionals. Services are provided at no cost to the community. CDC is responsible for the administration of programs, events, and resources. They also manage all finances, evaluations and status reporting of programs. The CDC Board of Directors identify and determine the most appropriate services and resources to provide the community.
