Dr. PJ Edmund has over twenty-five plus years of teaching, training and development experience in higher education, corporate, government, nonprofit sectors, and now proudly serves as the Executive Director of Timbrel Community Development Corporation guiding strategic accomplishments and community program development.
In corporate America he has served in various capacities including Executive Director of Training for a Social Services agency in Washington, DC, specializing in program development for staff in the Foster Care industry, an Assistant Vice President in Student Development in an urban Community College specializing in New Student Orientation, Career and Academic Counseling, and Enrollment Management (Admissions). As Adjunct Faculty in Continuing Education including Adult Basic Education (ABE), and Pre-GED preparation. His experience reaches Europe, specifically England, where he worked as a Staff Trainer and Facilitator in Avon County and the University of the West of England.
Dr. PJ has “an earned” PhD., of Philosophy in Christian Counseling & Psychology; a master’s in theology; and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He is both humbled and honored to be the proud recipient of two Honorary Doctorates: in Divinity, and Humane Letters; along with recognition by Howard University of Washington DC with the Chief Executive Award in Christian Leadership.
